WCL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2025
1. Graduate Apprentice
- Candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
2. Technician (Diploma) Apprentice
- Candidates should have a Diploma in Mining Engineering or Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying Engineering from a recognized institute.
3. Trade Apprentices (ITI Trades)
- COPA (Computer Operator & Programming Assistant) – Matric/10th pass under 10+2 system and one-year ITI certificate in COPA trade.
- Fitter – Matric/10th pass and two-year National/State ITI certificate in Fitter trade.
- Electrician – Matric/10th pass and two-year ITI in Electrician trade.
- Welder (Gas & Electric) – Matric/10th pass and one-year ITI in Welder trade.
- Wireman – Matric/10th pass and two-year ITI in Wireman trade.
- Surveyor – Matric/10th pass and two-year ITI in Surveyor trade.
- Mechanic Diesel – Matric/10th pass with one-year ITI in Diesel Mechanic trade.
- Draughtsman (Civil) – Matric/10th pass with two-year ITI in Draughtsman (Civil) trade.

The candidate should be born between 02/08/1999 and 02/08/2007 (both days inclusive).
