Eligibility Criteria – SSC GD Constable & Rifleman 2026

1. Nationality

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Candidates must possess domicile/PRC of the State/UT indicated in the application (except for certain exempted categories as per notice).

2. Educational Qualification

• Candidate must have passed Matriculation / 10th Class from a recognised Board or equivalent.
• The required educational qualification must be possessed on or before 01 January 2026.
• NCC certificate holders may get bonus marks at the time of final merit (as per SSC rules).

The age of the candidate will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.

• Candidates must be born not earlier than 02-01-2003 and not later than 01-01-2008 (both dates inclusive).
