The Karnataka Examinations Authority has announced the KREIS Teacher Recruitment 2026 for teaching vacancies in residential schools managed by the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society.

A total of 1,087 teaching vacancies have been announced under the Rest of the State cadre and Kalyana-Karnataka local cadre. The vacancies include Kannada, English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, Drawing, Art and Craft, and Music Teacher posts.

The online application process started on 15 July 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications until 13 August 2026, while the last date to complete fee payment is 14 August 2026.

Age Limit

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the competitive written examination. There will be no interview for the notified teaching posts.

  1. Written Examination: Candidates must appear for an offline OMR-based competitive examination.
  2. Paper I: General Knowledge, current affairs, general science and other relevant topics.
  3. Paper II: Subject-specific questions related to the teaching post selected by the candidate.
