Selection Process
The selection process for the KEA recruitment consists of two main stages:
- Competitive Written Examination: This is an OMR type examination comprising two papers. Paper 1 will cover general topics such as current affairs, general science, and mental ability, while Paper 2 will focus on specific subjects related to agriculture.
- Kannada Language Test: Candidates must pass this test to qualify for the final selection. Those who have studied Kannada up to the SSLC level or have other qualifications in Kannada are exempted from this test.
Candidates must score a minimum of 35% in the written examination to qualify for the Kannada language test. The examination will also feature negative marking, where 0.75 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
