Selection Process
The selection process for the DMER Maharashtra Tutors and Junior Residents recruitment involves multiple stages designed to identify the best candidates based on their qualifications and performance. Initially, a merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the MBBS degree examination, which will be converted into a percentage. This ensures that the selection is based on academic merit, which is a critical criterion for medical positions.
In cases where candidates have the same marks, a tie-breaker mechanism will be applied. This will consider the higher marks in the first, second, and third MBBS examinations, followed by the older admission batch and date of birth. Additionally, candidates with postgraduate qualifications in the relevant subject will be given preference, ensuring that the most qualified individuals are selected for these roles.
- Merit list based on MBBS marks
- Tie-breaker criteria include:
- Higher marks in 1st, 2nd & 3rd MBBS
- Older admission batch
- Older candidate (DOB)
- Preference for PG qualifications
- Online preference filling for seat allotment
- Allotment letters sent via email, with candidates required to join within 7 days
