The
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the
UPSC Combined Geo Scientist Result 2025 on
29 October 2025.
Candidates who appeared for the Combined Geo Scientist (CGS) Examination 2025 held on
21st and 22nd June 2025 can now check their qualifying status.
The result is available for download in PDF format at the official UPSC website
upsc.gov.in.
The UPSC Combined Geo Scientist exam is conducted annually for the recruitment of
Geologists, Geophysicists, Chemists, and Scientists (Group A/B) in
various government departments. Candidates shortlisted in the result will be called for
the next stage of selection, i.e.
Personality Test / Interview.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must hold a Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc/M.Tech) in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- For Group B positions, candidates with equivalent qualifications may also apply.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 32 Years
- Candidates must have been born between 2nd January 1993 and 1st January 2004.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per UPSC norms for SC/ST/OBC/PH categories.
Application Fee
- General / OBC Candidates: ₹200/-
- Female / SC / ST / PwBD Candidates: Exempted
- Payment can be made via SBI branch, Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or Internet Banking.
