Banka District Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Reservation benefits will be applicable only for candidates having Bihar domicile.
- Psycho-Social Counsellor: Graduation in Psychology/Neuroscience with relevant experience in women’s health-related government/non-government projects at district level.
- Para Medical (Part Time): Professional degree/diploma in Paramedical field with experience in health-related programmes at district level in government/non-government sector.
- Para Legal Person / Advocate: Law Graduate with experience in women-related projects or minimum two years’ advocacy experience in court.
- Multi Purpose Worker / Cook: Minimum literacy; preference for candidates with work experience in related field, especially Matric (10th pass) or equivalent.
- Security Guard / Night Guard: Minimum 2 years’ experience as security staff in government/reputed organisations; retired Army/Paramilitary personnel will be given preference.
- Candidates with basic computer knowledge will get preference for administrative work.
- Experience certificates must be issued by competent authority and should be after acquiring essential qualification.
Age Limit (as on Advertisement Date)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age (General Contract Condition): 42 Years
- UR (Male): up to 37 Years
- UR (Female): up to 40 Years
- BC / EBC (Male & Female): up to 40 Years
- SC / ST (Male & Female): up to 42 Years
- For both age and experience, the advertisement publication date is treated as cut-off date.
Banka District Contract Posts – Salary / Honorarium
- Psycho-Social Counsellor: ₹22,000/- per month (basic honorarium).
- Para Medical (Part Time): ₹8,000/- per month (consolidated, EPF/ESIC not applicable).
- Para Legal Person / Advocate (Part Time): ₹8,000/- per month (consolidated, EPF/ESIC not applicable).
- Multi Purpose Worker / Cook: ₹13,000/- per month.
- Security Guard / Night Guard: ₹13,000/- per month.
- Where only basic honorarium is mentioned, EPF and ESIC will be payable as per rules; where consolidated honorarium is mentioned, EPF/ESIC will not be paid.
Selection Process
- Scrutiny of applications and preparation of merit list based on qualification and experience.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- Information about interview will be sent through email and will also be uploaded on the official district website banka.bih.nic.in.
- No separate communication will be sent by post.
- Appointment will be purely contractual and temporary; it may be terminated without prior notice or with 15 days’ notice.
- Contractual staff will not be treated as government servants and will not get any right to claim regular government service.
