The Senior Resident / Tutor posts will be filled in different teaching hospitals and medical colleges under the Health Department, Government of Bihar. The distribution of posts is based on service cadre and type of postgraduate qualification.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) in the relevant speciality.
- In case of non-availability of enough PG degree holders in a speciality, candidates with a diploma in the concerned subject may be considered as per rules.
- Degree / diploma must be from an institute recognised by NMC / MCI or the competent authority.
Service & Category Conditions
- 40% posts are reserved for members of the Bihar State Health Service cadre.
- 40% posts are earmarked for doctors who obtained PG degree under the residency scheme from state medical colleges.
- Remaining 20% posts are open for PG degree holders from recognised institutions outside Bihar.
Other Requirements
- Valid registration with Medical Council / Bihar Medical Council.
- Candidate must fulfil all conditions mentioned in the official advertisement before the last date of application.
